Iraq: Day X – Over 100,000 protest in Netherlands

120,000 people took to the streets of In Amsterdam on Saturday 23 march.

Day X. Netherlands.

Over 100,000 protest

This was more than on the large 15 February demo.

The national anti-war coalition, called the Committee Against the New War (established during the Afghanistan war) called the demonstration. This coalition is composed of more than 200 small and big organisations, including the broad left Socialist Party and Green Left. This time, two trade unions also supported the anti-war demonstration. There was many youth on the protest. And also people from the different migrant communities.

We, in Offensief, the Dutch section of the CWI, sold 112 papers.
