Conference reflects on victories and discusses the way forward
On Saturday 27 June, a national conference of the National Shop Stewards’ Network was held in London. The conference took place in the aftermath of major victories, as workers at Lindsey Oil Refinery, Visteon and Linamar showed the potential that exists for workers to beat bosses’ attacks if militant action is taken. The conference heard speeches from key leaders of all of these struggles and discussed the way forward. Joe Higgins, newly elected Socialisty Party MEP in Ireland also addressed the conference.
