European Union wants to increase its military might
Over the past number of years, there have been increasing moves towards militarising the European Union, both within the Union but also with a view to the EU playing a much bigger, dominant role in world politics, both politically and militarily.
In the video below, Paul Murphy explains why he voted against the resolution on the Albertini Report which deals with the Common Foreign & Security Policy of the European Union which highlights the need for the European Union to increase its military might as well as allowing for military missions to be launched in the name of the European Union.
