Northern Ireland: It was a solid day of strike action. The mood was angry, particularly after Osborn’s speech the day before, with everyone saying this is just the start of strike action. 10,000 attended the Belfast rally and about 2-3,000 in Derry. Other smaller rallies took place in other towns.
