Turkey: 100,000s workers and students strike and protest against terror

Below we publish photos taken in Ankara by members of Sosyalist Alternatif (CWI in Turkey) of the protests taking place yesterday and today during a two days-general strike called by four trade unions in response to last Saturday’s double terrorist bombings. Across Turkey, workers, students, left and pro-Kurdish campaigners staged mass protests, school and university boycotts, solid strikes and picket lines. A defiant anti-government mood was reported everywhere. Meanwhile important solidarity protests continue around the world.
