Russia Today covers historic Liverpool battle, led by the CWI in Britain

We publish here a Russia Today video clip broadcast last weekend. Beginning at about 1:30 into the video, the clip covers the heroic struggle of the Liverpool working class against the Thatcher government, led by Militant (now the Socialist Party – CWI in England & Wales). This is linked to the current discussion on Trotskyism, inspired by developments around the mass movement to defend Jeremy Corbyn as Labour Party leader. In the clip, Tony Mulhearn, a leader of the Liverpool council struggle and Peter Taaffe, general secretary of the Socialist Party, are interviewed.
