What we collect and Protection
Personal details: name and address, country, gender
Contact details: address, email, and phone numbers.
Affiliations/memberships: membership of organisations such as trade unions, student unions, and community campaigns.
Other: information relevant to surveys of specific interest such as book preferences, collected when we run petitions or sell books/merchandise.
We use Paypal to process your payments. We don’t take your card or bank details. Do not provide those details in any forms on our site that you are asked to fill in. Please make sure that you use a secure connection when you make payment.
The Data that we collect is kept private and will not be used for any other marketing purposes. We also provide login facilities for you to check what details we hold and option also to unsubscribe. We will hold your details for a short period after your unsubscribe and then will be deleted permanently. Only a small amount of coding is done by us in the design of the site. We mostly use off the shelf product that comes with privacy policies. However, none of the technology provides full protection. Notify us immediately if you have any concerns that data is being compromised so that we can take immediate action.
